Professional Judgement allows a Financial Aid Administrator to make changes to a student FAFSA information if certain special conditions are met. In additional, under certain circumstances we can increase the Student Expense budget to help them take out additional loans. Students with a Student Aid Index (SAI) of 0 or a negative number are already receiving the maximum aid, so Professional Judgement will not assist them in receiving additional funding.
